Our Philosophy

 

At the Ponca Nursing and Assisted Living Center, all staff will, at all times provide care and services to residents necessary to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with the comprehensive assesment and plan of care.

 

All staff will endeavor to assist the resident in obtaining optimal improvement and/or in avoinding deterioration within the limits of a resident's rights to refuse treatment, within the limits of recognized pathology and the normal aging process.

 

All staff shall aggressively and continually implement the resident's plan of care, which is based on an accurate and comprehensive assessment of the resident's strengths, weaknesses, and potential for improvement.

 

Our staff is committed to providing personalized service, and stressing the individual's right to dignity and respect.  We encourage family involvement and participation in each resident's plan of care.  Striving to return individuals to the greatest degree of independence by maximizing their abilities.
